Looking through this phone today, I happened upon a picture I only took on Monday; it was my LOTD (lip from the day) which was Lime scale Crimes Countessa Fluorescent (see key article photo for a real lip swatch).
Seeing the picture got me making plans for Lime Crime and most of the controversy behind the trademark (if youre not accustomed, Google them and one can find pages upon pages with info). The first time I discovered the drama I observed it very interesting to learn about, but my opinion within the brand didn't really modification. Before you show up within my house with a consumption torch, let me clarify why.
I buy Lime Crime for products, not their honesty. What they choose to train in their business is affecting them because obviously an exceptional amount of people possess boycotted this brand altogether. I do realize the item did, at a level, indirectly affect the wholesalers. Even so, with the exploitation connected with said business practices, we can all be reassured that awareness helped get these wholesalers the business enterprise they deserve and could possibly have lost.
Im not necessarily saying what allegedly took place is fair (remember: when they get home of the day these types of accusations began as rumors), but I feel that people may put an excessive amount of emphasis on things which will dont directly involve these products. If you feel that will Lime Crime has definitely offended you, then how okay and thats ones prerogative. Im simply here today to increase a question planned: what are you selecting your makeup for: the merchandise, or the business?
